Woke up pretty late after an entire day of being on the road from California to Oregon, so we had to make up some time by eating a fast meal.

After a long trip we stopped by a winery in Central Point. Sadly though, it was already closed.

With frowns on our faces, we had no choice but to explore a bit on our own.

Luckily, a nearby creamery was opened and we went in for a peek.

They had many different kinds of cheeses for you to taste.

I’m not a really big fan of cheese so I don’t really know what to say or how to judge.

They also had all sorts of liquor for sale.

Having to drive still, soda is probably the safer option. These sodas are quite unique as I’ve never seen any other sodas using pear as a base. The pear soda was quite delicious.

After visiting the creamery, we were getting ready to leave. Just as we were about to leave some police officers starting blocking the street. Being curious we parked our cars to take a look. It seems that the locals are gathering for some sort of classic car parade.

The locals are very proud of their social event as families gathered for a good time.

At the end of the night, rain poured. A nice warm bowl of clam chowder in the city of Eugene made it much better.

And the pizza was not bad either.

Care for a slice?
