Bird's nest egg tart
I remember having a delightful little treat on one of my trips to Hong Kong.

Til this day I can still remember the taste of bird’s nest egg tart.
A while ago, I’ve suddenly developed a craving for such treat thanks to a post on Sparklette.
After much searching,  I couldn’t find a single restaurant that serves the treat in LA.  Not a single restaurant? Unbelievable!
To my surprise a few days later I see an ad on the papers that reads “8 year anniversary, free bird’s nest egg tart.” To celebrate their anniversary, Sea Habour Restaurant (Rosemead, Ca) is offering free egg tarts to any customer that visits. What luck!

So what is a bird’s nest egg tart? It’s basically what the name implies… bird’s nest on top of an egg tart.
